GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL AT ANYTIME?
A: As long as you have a ticket in hand that has not been scanned you will be able to enter the event from the moment it opens until the time the event ends each day. Re-entry is not allowed for general admission pass holders.

Q: WHAT TIME DOES PARADISO FESTIVAL START & END?
A: 2:00pm June 15th until 1:30am June 17th

Q: WILL YOU BE POSTING SET TIMES IN ADVANCE?
A: Yes. Set times will be posted on this web site and on USC social media sites before the festival opens. Set times will also be on the festival guide that is passed out upon entry. We will send an email to everyone who signed up for USC email updates once the schedule is posted, so be sure to sign up. (LINE UP SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

Q: WILL THERE BE A FESTIVAL MAP AVAILABLE AHEAD OF TIME SO I CAN SEE STAGE LOCATIONS, FOOD COURTS, BATHROOM AREAS ETC?
A: Yes. An online version as well as a printable version will be released on this site before the festival. The festival guide that will be passed out upon entry will also contain the map.

Q: CAN I ENTER, LEAVE AND RE-ENTER PARADISO FESTIVAL?
A: If you have a general admission ticket and leave the site, there is no re-entry that day unless you purchase a new ticket (if there are still tickets available). VIP ticket holders will be granted unlimited in & out privileges.

Q: I’M A MEDIA REPRESENTATIVE. WHO DO I ARRANGE A PRESS PASS THROUGH?

Q: CAN I PASS OUT FLYERS AT THE FESTIVAL?
A: No.

Q: WILL THERE BE ATM MACHINES?
A: Yes, there will be ATMs both inside and outside the venue grounds. ATM locations will be clearly marked on the festival guide.

Q: WILL THERE BE PARKING?
A: The Gorge Amphitheatre has ample on-site parking. The parking lot gates open at 11:00am. Parking areas are well marked, lighted and secure. Designated parking areas for physically challenged patrons are available. (Follow signage). No overnight parking is permitted in the parking lots. You cannot park your car in these lost and join a camping group. A new camping pass will be required to bring you car into the camping area for overnight parking. By order of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, there is no parking on county roads or private property leading to or adjacent to the venue. The county ordinances also strictly prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lot, and these laws will be strictly enforced.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES THE PARKING COST?
A: The cost of parking is already included in your ticket price. There is no additional charge to park in the on-site lots unless you choose the Star Parking Upgrade.

Q: CAN I SLEEP IN MY CAR IN THE PARKING LOT?
A: Unfortunately, there is no overnight parking (please see the camping sections for information on overnight camping)

WHAT CAN I BRING?

Q: CAN I BRING WATER BOTTLES INTO THE EVENT?
A: You can bring in one 20oz factory sealed bottle of water. There will also be bottled water sold inside the venue, as well as complimentary water stations in select locations. Please remember to keep hydrated!

Q: OTHER THAN A 20OZ FACTORY SEALED BOTTLE OF WATER, CAN I BRING IN A CAMELBAK OR ANY OTHER WATER CONTAINERS?
A: You may bring in water containers (including camel-baks), provided that they are empty as you enter the festival. They will be inspected.

Q: WHAT CAN BE IN MY 1-GALLON BAG OF SNACKS?
A: You can bring 1 Ziploc bag no be larger than 1 gallon and all snacks inside must be factory sealed.

Q: I LOVE TAKING PICTURES, CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
A: You may bring your small non-professional still camera. (No removable lenses) Video cameras (including Go-Pros) are not allowed inside the venue.

TICKET QUESTIONS

Q: WILL TICKETS SELL OUT?
A: It is very likely that Paradiso 2017 will sell out in which case no more tickets will be sold. We recommend purchasing early so that you can rest assured you will be able to attend. Some ticket types have smaller quantities and will sell out more quickly than others.

Q: WILL THERE BE SINGLE DAY TICKETS?
A: Only 2 day passes are being sold.

Q: WILL TICKETS BE SOLD AT THE EVENT?
A: If the festival does not sell out in advance, tickets will be available at the box office at a higher price on show date. Do not buy tickets from scalpers. Beware of frauds.

Q: WILL THE GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS BE A WRISTBAND, A LANYARD OR TICKETS?
A: The 2-day GA Pass will be single ticket for each day only. No wristband or lanyard will be issued for GA tickets.

Q: CAN YOU REPRINT LOST AND MISPLACED TICKETS AT THE GORGE AMPHITHEATRE BOX OFFICE?
A: TREAT YOUR TICKETS LIKE CASH. Keep them in a safe place where they cannot be easily lost or stolen.
Tickets cannot be easily reprinted and the cost of reprinting a ticket can exceed $100.

Q: ARE TICKET PRICES GOING TO INCREASE FROM WHERE THEY ARE NOW?
A: Yes, they will go up in price level as allotted ticket amounts are sold.

Q: IF I BUY FROM AN AUTHORIZED RETAIL LOCATION, WILL I GET A PHYSICAL TICKET THAT WILL GAIN ME ADMITTANCE?
A: Yes. Retail locations sell tickets, which will be valid for entry.

Q: HOW DOES A 2-DAY PASS GRANT ENTRANCE TO THE FESTIVAL?
A: Each 2-day pass consists of 1 Friday ticket and 1 Saturday ticket. You will need to present the correct day’s ticket to be granted entry for each day of the festival.

Q: WHAT TIME DOES THE BOX OFFICE OPEN AT THE GORGE AMPHITHEATRE?
A: The box office opens each show day at 12:00am and closes at 10:00pm. Thursday campers will also be able to visit the box office starting at Thursday, June 22nd.

Q: WILL VIP UPGRADES BE OFFERED?
A: Upgrades will not be available because VIP will be sold out.

Q: IF I BUY A RESALE GA PASS AND SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME IS ON THE RECEIPT, IS IT STILL OK TO USE THEM EVEN IF THE NAME DOESN’T MATCH?

Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY TICKETS?
A: Please take a look at your transaction information and see which option was selected regarding shipping/pickup method. If you selected the mailing option and are worried because you have not received them, call Ticketmaster directly.

AGE/ID QUESTIONS

Q: WHAT KIND OF ID DO I NEED TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL?
A: Please review all the detailed ID rules here

Q: CAN I ATTEND THE EVENT IF I AM UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AND I COME WITH A LEGAL GUARDIAN?
A: This event is strictly 18 and older. Security will not allow anyone under the age of 18 into the venue.

Q: MY ID WAS LOST/STOLEN. WHAT CAN I USE TO PROVE THAT I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD?
A: If you have a passport, security will accept all government issued passports. Expired government issued identification will only be accepted WITH temporary DMV documentation that is valid and proves you are going to receive a new valid ID. Q: WHAT DO I DO IF MY ID EXPIRED AND I DO NOT THINK I WILL RECEIVE A NEW ONE IN TIME?
A: Please bring your expired ID AND your temporary DMV documentation that proves your ID is being renewed. Review all the detailed ID rules here

Q: CAN I USE A CONSULAR ID OR FOREIGN GOVERNMENT ISSUED DRIVERS LICENSE?
A: Security will not accept consular identification or a foreign government issued drivers license (Canadian drivers licenses or identification cards that are not expired may be used to grant entry into the festival). They will accept any foreign government issued passport provided it has a photo, name and date of birth on it. A passport can be acquired by scheduling an appointment with your local consulate office.

Q: WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL?
A: Security will not accept consular identification or a foreign government issued drivers license other than Canadian Province issued driver’s license or identification card. US military ID, Merchant Marine ID, Tribal ID (not all accepted), and US Possessions issued ID will all also be accepted. They will accept any foreign government issued passport provided it has a photo, name and date of birth on it. CAMPING QUESTIONS

Q: WHERE CAN I BUY CAMPING TICKETS?
A: Camping passes can be purchased here

Q: WHAT TIME DOES THE CAMPGROUND OPEN?
A: The campground will open at 1:00pm on Thursday June 14th and remain open until Sunday June 17th at Noon. Expect long lines to enter the campground.

Q: ARE THERE SHOWERS – HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?
A: Hot & cold showers are available. For Regular camping the showers can be found at the “Pivot” and there will be a $3.00 charge. In Premier and Terraces Camping showers are provided free of charge.

Q: WILL STANDARD CAMPING SELL OUT?
A: No and passes will be available to purchase at the gates but we recommend getting your passes in advance so your entry is easier. Purchase camping passes here.

Q: ARE THERE SUPPOSED TO BE BRACELETS THAT COME WITH THE CAMPING PASSES IN THE MAIL?
A: No

Q: CAN I UPGRADE MY CAMPING PASS?
A: There are no camping upgrades

Q: IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
A: As long as you are of age, alcohol is permitted within the confines of your individual campsite, but no open containers or alcohol consumption is allowed in the public areas or on the roads.

Q: I WANT TO CAMP NEXT TO MY FRIENDS, CAN YOU RESERVE A SPOT?
A: Camping sites in Regular & Premier camping are allocated as you arrive, spaces cannot be held or reserved, so if you want to camp in groups, you must show up at the same time.

Q: CAN I BUY 2 CAMPING PASSES WITH ONE CAR AND HAVE A BIGGER SITE?
A: Sure – just make sure you show the campground attendant both passes upon arrival.

Q: IS THERE A LIMIT ON TENT SIZE AT THE GORGE?
A: 4-6 person tent per vehicle/camp site

Q: HOW BIG ARE THE CAMPSITES FOR GENERAL CAMPING?
A: A general/standard camping site is about 15’x25′. Enough room for one vehicle and tent.

Q: CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE TENT IN OUR CAMPING SPACE ALONG WITH OUT VEHICLE?
A: Camping spaces are strictly one vehicle per space. If your tents fit within the camping space along with your vehicle, then OK

Q: CAN I CAMP IF I DO NOT HAVE A TICKET FOR THE SHOW?
A: No, you will need a ticket for the concert in order to enter the campgrounds.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
A: A tent (you’d be surprised!)
– Clothing for all temperatures – the nights can be chilly.
– Sunscreen/sunblock.
– You can bring your own food for the campground, though this year we do now have some great hot food options at the pivot.
– Your happy smiley face ready to have some fun.
– A bit of patience, give our staff a wave and a hello instead of a snarl, they are working very long hours and really hard to make these shows happen, but expect occasional lines, it happens when 25,000 people descend on one place at one time.

Q: IS THERE A STORE IN THE CAMPGROUND?
A: Yes there is. The store has a wide variety of beers, soft drinks & snacks, ice, as well as some of those little necessities you may have forgotten, sunscreen, basic toiletries etc. The General Store is located close to the main entrance.

Q: CAN I BRING MY DOG?
A: No. Do not bring any pet whatsoever, not because we don’t like them – we are all animal lovers here – but it is cruel and unfair to the pet to leave it alone in the campground or parking lot, locked up or in a car or tent where it may suffer from extreme heat. When we see a pet in a car or running around the campground unattended, we will alert the authorities and your vehicle may be entered and the pet taken to a shelter for its own welfare. You may be subject to prosecution for cruelty to animals. Service Animals are permitted however.

Q: CAN PEOPLE COME TO AND FROM THE GORGE?
A: Not encouraged – especially during busy ingress period – but provision can be made – you would need to get a reentry pass from Guest Services on the way out of the campground.

Q: WILL THERE BE A PLACE TO PARK VEHICLES FOR THOSE SHARING CAMPING WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
A: No – if you want to park a vehicle overnight you will need a camping pass for that vehicle – one vehicle = one camping space. The Gorge parking area does not allow overnight parking.

Q: CAN I VISIT OTHER CAMPING AREAS WITH MY CAMPING PASS?
A: Terrance pass holders can visit any camping area.
Gold and Premier can visit each others camping areas and can go to standard camping area.
Standard pass holders can only enter the standard camping area.
